How you Can Heal an Ankle Ligament Injury
The commonest type of ankle sprain is commonly known as an inversion sprain where the ankle turns over so the sole of the foot faces inwards. When this kind of ankle sprain happens, the outer, or lateral ligaments are stretched too far and damaged. About 90% of ankle sprains are an ankle ligament injury. Discomfort is always on the exterior of the ankle, and there is usually no pain on the inside of the ankle joint.
When force is put on it ( either by lateral movement or an irregular surface ), the ankle cannot sustain the force placed on it and twists too far, causing ligament damage.
If you have already have a sprained ankle and are wondering what the best kind of treatment you can do for it now, I would recommend the H.E.M. Ankle rehabilitation System. I’ve found it to be of serious benefit to my clients and athletes. If left to itself, an ankle ligament injury can take anywhere from 4-10 weeks to fix. H.E.M. H.E.M. Is for the average person who wants to fix quickly and totally from a lateral ankle injury and protect themselves from sprains in the future. As far as I am concerned it’s the best ankle rehabilitation system out there today.
I have heard a large amount of people praise the system called RI.C.E. And I see no reason why someone who is not a pro sportsman should have to suffer the agony of 2-3 months of discomfort, when there is a way to get better in about a week ( H.E.M. Remember, ice is only effective for containing swelling and doesn’t do anything to heal your ankle. And rest can never strengthen your ankle or remove scar tissue adhesions that will keep your ankle more locked up than before you were hurt. Put together, it places you at much higher risk of injury in the future. I advise it just because so many people have asked me about it and i want to get this information out there to help a much larger portion of the populace beyond my athletes and clients. Best of luck and health!
And most importantly, just remember that your ankles are extremely important to the remainder of your body. They’re your foundation for movement and if they are not functional, it can awfully simply cause Problems in many other places in the body.
